Peacehaven Community School (PCS) is a proudly comprehensive school. This means diverse teaching opportunities, from supporting SEN students with complex needs - some of whom may also be gifted and talented and studying in our Baccalaureate stream – to working with learners who are new to English. Our approach to each child is the same; we want to support them to achieve their dreams. We don’t believe in barriers and we don’t believe in labels; we believe in hard work and high aspirations. If you are ambitious for yourself and for the students you teach, we would like to meet you.

PCS is a school that knows what it is: a place of learning.

PCS is a Swale Academies Trust school. Since November 2015 Swale Academies Trust (SAT) has been supporting the leadership of the school and converted to academy status on 1st September 2019. SAT has a proud history of supporting non-selective schools to out-perform grammar schools in Kent. Here in East Sussex, the Trust is applying those same principles to areas where students have not had the advantages given to their peers in more affluent areas.

We are an Ofsted rated 'Good' school.

We would welcome applications from teachers who want to develop their careers and explore the opportunities that working with an established academy trust brings.

This is your opportunity to join our inspirational and forward-thinking team, making a significant and measurable difference in improving the educational attainment of the children and young people in this inclusive community.
