Exam Invigilators Casual Contracts SCP2 - Hourly Rate £12.85 Bishop Heber High School is looking to recruit additional Examination Invigilators to join our team on a casual basis, supporting the successful delivery of public examinations throughout the school year.

The role involves supervising students during examinations, ensuring that all exams are conducted in accordance with Examination Board regulations and the School's procedures.

Invigilators also assist the Exams Officer in maintaining a calm, orderly and supportive examination environment. We are seeking individuals who are: · Reliable, punctual and flexible · Able to communicate effectively with young people · Professional and attentive to detail ·

Available to work during examination periods Invigilators are generally required to be available from: · 8.50 am for morning examination sessions · 12.45 pm for afternoon examination sessions

Please note that the length of examination sessions will vary. In addition to invigilation duties, we are also looking to appoint individuals who can act as Readers and Scribes for students who require examination access arrangements.

Bishop Heber High School is a mixed, non-denominational comprehensive school with a sixth form, there are 1280 students on roll aged 11-18. It is situated in the picturesque village of Malpas. The school has an enviable reputation for excellence both within its catchment area and far beyond. The school was founded in 1960.

Location

Malpas is a large village placed deep in the south Cheshire countryside. There are several pubs in the village as well as good quality local shopping. Malpas also hosts a regular Farmers’ Market. If you are looking to explore, Malpas is a great base for sightseeing with Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales just a stone’s throw away. Practically on your doorstep is the famous city of Chester, you can reach the city in 30 minutes and explore all the historic sites.
