Inspire their remarkable with us
This is an ideal role for graduates or university students!
We are looking to appoint several Exams Invigilators on a casual basis to implement examination procedures and ensure the proper conduct of examination candidates.
We have a very friendly, welcoming and supportive team of support staff at the academy and this is an exciting time to join Sir Herbert Leon Academy. After our recent Ofsted visit we have moved to Requires Improvement with ’Good’ for Leadership & Management, Personal Development, Behaviour & Welfare and Post 16.
With our ‘broad and balanced’ curriculum as well as ‘pupils behaving well in lessons, break and lunchtimes’ being recognised by Ofsted, Sir Herbert Leon Academy is very much a school on its way to ‘Good’.
If you'd like to ensure that every student in our care is able to achieve the best outcome possible, we would love to hear from you!
In this role, some of your duties will be:
- Hand out appropriate question papers to candidates.
- Read out examination instructions.
- Record examination start and finish times.
- Instruct candidates to begin examinations.
- Complete attendance register and seating plan as required.
- Lay out and collect candidate cards according to instructions.
- At the end of the examination, collect candidate and question papers in accordance with instructions.
We passionately believe that every child can discover their own remarkable life. It’s what motivates us around here. We know this vision requires something extra. Which is why at AET, you’ll find more. More opportunities, so you can forge your own path. More care and support, so you can prioritise what matters most. More purpose, for you and for the children we’re inspiring.
