Our academy is transformational for young people and was judged 'Good' in all areas in February 2016. Results have increased dramatically and this year we have achieved a Progress 8 score which places us near to the top of all schools nationally.  We are also a Leading Edge school.


We are looking to expand our current team of invigilators and are seeking  to recruit honest, trustworthy & reliable individuals who are calm, responsible and methodical to  help supervise our examinations, internal assessments and mock exams. 


Flexibility and availability is required regarding working hours / days particularly in November, May and June.  Applicants must also be able to work from 8.30 am and part of the role will involve standing for long periods.


Full training will be provided and we offer a full support and induction programme for all new staff.

If action is needed beyond these simple steps, the pastoral and senior teams take all the burden away from the teachers, conducting detentions, following up and dealing with parents on your behalf.   • A genuine ‘flexi-working’ approach with at least one opportunity a week to come in      late or leave early for every teaching member of staff
  • No unannounced observations
  • No lesson grading
  • 3 extra INSET days per year for joint team planning
  • A feedback and recognition policy that lets teachers decide the best feedback mechanism for their own classes, rather than having this prescribed centrally
