Job overview

Millthorpe School are seeking to recruit Exam Invigilators, as soon as possible, to join our existing, well-established team.

Exam Invigilators work on a casual (as and when needed) basis, with their peak periods of work during May and June each year. Other periods of work are during November and January. With this in mind, we would like to appoint our invigilators as soon as possible, but we can be flexible on start dates.

As this position does not lead to a regular working pattern, we find it suits people best who are looking for something extra to fit around existing commitments. Ideally you will be able to commit to a minimum of three days work in any given week.

Whilst experience of exam invigilation, and/or working in a secondary school environment would be helpful, it is not essential as full training will be given.

A job description is available on our website, and this will be discussed with shortlisted candidates in more detail at interview.

Interviews will be held during the week commencing 20 February 2023.

Millthorpe is a popular and successful school rooted in its community close to the heart of the historic city of York. You will be a joining a warm, inclusive and motivated team of over 100 colleagues.

Further details about our school, a job description and an application form are available on our school website: https://millthorpeschool.co.uk/
