Exam Invigilators

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-organised, calm and punctual individual to join our Examinations team.  

The post holder will be engaged on a casual basis to support the team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all public examinations during the summer term. They will be required to:  

• conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding bodies and the James Allen’s Girls’ School regulations and instructions;  
• have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination process; 
• assist in preparing the examination rooms each day in accordance with JCQ requirements, place candidate cards on desks, ensure the correct examination details are in place, ensure clocks are clearly visible and examination stationery is available;  
• keep accurate records of incidents during the exam period (illness, rest breaks, late candidates, and so on); and 
• complete any other reasonable related tasks that may be needed.
