EXAMINATION INVIGILATORS

We are seeking to expand our team of Exam Invigilators for public examinations commencing in May 2018. These are non-teaching posts and involve supervising students undertaking public examinations and reporting directly to the Exams Office.

Previous experience is not necessary, as training will be provided.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 15 March 2018 by 12 noon.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend interview on Wednesday 21 March 2018 and successfully appointed applicants will be required to attend a compulsory training day on Friday 13 April 2018.

Please note: previous Examination Invigilator applicants need not apply.

All staff appointed to The Kings of Wessex Academy are required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barrings Service check.

About The Kings of Wessex Academy

The Kings of Wessex Academy is a mixed, Church of England academy secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 13-18, located in Cheddar, Somerset. It was founded in 1976, and was formerly known as The Kings of Wessex School before converting to an academy in 2011. The school has approximately 1,200 pupils.

Kings of Wessex is part of the Wessex Learning Trust, a group of eight academies in the Cheddar Valley.

The school describes itself as a forward-thinking academy, that also still believes in traditional values. Kings expects its students to be polite, to show respect for others and to maintain high standards of behaviour and uniform. It is a specialist technology college.
