Job overview
We wish to appoint a number of Exam Invigilators to work on an ad-hoc basis to support the academy by supervising internal and external examinations and promoting exam best practice. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our highly professional, friendly, support team.
We are looking for someone with a “can do” attitude who is flexible, practical, calm, energetic and diligent. Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given. Flexibility of hours to be worked is essential.
What makes The Becket School special is the real sense of community that you can see and sense as you walk around the school. Each individual child is important to us and our expectation is that all our students will develop and grow as young people as they make their journey as part of our community. The quality of teaching is strong and our staff are talented, caring and dedicated.
We are a welcoming and inclusive school and are happy to accept applications for those of all faiths or none, who are supportive of the school’s Catholic character and Christian ethos.
The salary is £9.02 per hour plus holiday pay allowance.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is one of three Trusts created across the Diocese of Nottingham as part of a visionary approach to Catholic education across the Diocese.
We bring together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Lincoln and Lincolnshire.
We are, first and foremost, a Catholic Multi-Academy Trust and aim to provide an outstanding faith based education; we place the life, teachings and person of Jesus Christ at the centre of everything we do.
Our priority is to ensure the very best Catholic education for all young people in our community, whatever their circumstances. We will achieve this together, through a strategic approach to sharing best practice, effective challenge and support from a central standards and performance team and opportunities for high quality Initial Teacher Training and Continuing Professional Development offered by the CMAT’s Training Hub.
This is a really exciting time in education across our Diocese and it is a great privilege for us to be able to play a central role in shaping the all round education of the young people in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust. I really hope you will join us on the journey!
