Examination Invigilators

Coombe Girls’ School and Sixth Form is a comprehensive girls’ state secondary school, with a co-educational Sixth Form. The school is heavily oversubscribed and is committed to providing an excellent education to children in the local area. We are proud of the progress our students make from their starting points during their time with us: the school’s Progress 8 score was +0.7 and 42% of GCSE entries were graded 7 to 9 last year. We are looking for Examination Invigilators to support the Exams Officer in overseeing and supervising examinations in such a way as to ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during the examination sessions.

You will receive a timetable for allocated days when you will be required. This may vary from week to week depending on the number of exams taking place during each session or day. The pattern of exams is normally 6 weeks in May-June for GCSE and A level exams; University entrance exams are usually in November for one day. Invigilators will be required to commit to certain busy days throughout the summer public exam period.
