Job overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our examinations function within the newly launched Regulation Team at Derby College!

As Examinations Assistant you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of examinations and assessments across the College, providing an excellent customer service to all stakeholders.  You will work flexibly and will support the wider Regulation and MIS teams during peak times including enrolment and timetabling.

You will have experience of working as a member of a team delivering a key support service which is customer focussed and will demonstrate the ability to enter and retrieve data to high levels of accuracy.  If you have experience working in an administrative role and/or of exams administration and exam board regulations, that is an advantage.  But if you don’t have this experience that’s also great; as long as you have the key skills required, we will train you on the rest!

Other examples of the benefits you’ll have access to as a Derby College employee include access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, discounts at selected retailers, free eyecare tests and discounted rail travel!

If this role sounds interesting, the full job description and application link can be found below.  If you have any questions and/or would like an informal chat, please contact Tony, Director of Regulation, via email – tony.mcilroy@derby-college.ac.uk, or LinkedIn – www.linkedin.com/in/tony-mcilroy-a8a454113 .

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check in line with our safeguarding policy.

Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing Monday 30th May.
