Job overview

Full time full year - Annualised hours based on 37hrs per week x 52 weeks per year

We require an Examinations Assistant to join the Examinations Department, which currently consists of two full time and three part time members of staff.  The department is a key function of the College and one of the largest in the country.  It is a busy environment dealing with all examination entries and running all the appropriate systems to support this function. The Examinations Officer heads the small specialist team who have defined duties, but staff need to work as part of a team as well as working on their own initiative to meet the workload and deadlines.

The post is based on a full-time full year contract with working hours and days organised on an annualised hours basis. This effectively means that the person appointed will be required to work flexibly and undertake longer working days, during particularly busy examination periods, which will be balanced by shorter working days at quieter periods. Busy periods may include school holiday times.  In practice, the busiest period runs from January through to the end of exams (normally the end of June).

Further details about the College and an application pack are available on the College website: www.colchsfc.ac.uk

To apply for this post an application form must be completed (unaccompanied CV’s will not be accepted).

CLOSING DATE: 9.00am Monday 13th June 2016
Interviews are scheduled to take place Thursday 7th July 2016

This college is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
