Examinations Officer & Tracking Assistant

Wellingborough School are seeking an Examinations Officer & Tracking Assistant who will be required to ensure that the School’s examinations and assessments are managed and delivered smoothly and effectively (and in line with regulations laid down by the awarding bodies and Joint Council of Qualifications).
The role requires a customer focused individual with proven high-level skills in planning, organisation and communication, and who is able to work to high standards of accuracy. The successful applicant must have a professional approach to their work and be able to work calmly under pressure. They must also be able to lead a team and liaise comfortably with awarding bodies, pupils, staff and parents. The applicant must have an interest in working with data and using the findings to help support the School improving pupils’ exam outcomes. Strong IT skills are required, in particular Excel, as data analysis, interpretation and the presentation of data is key to the role.
Salary: £19,600 to £23,520 (FTE £24,375 to £29,250) dependent on skills and experience,
(Inclusive of holiday pay entitlement)
Hours: Monday to Friday, term time (35 hours per week, in the main) plus additional weeks during peak times.
The salary requires for an allocation of additional hours, which will be worked at peak times when exams are running and during the public examination results days.
The successful applicant must be flexible with the ability to start their working day as early as 7.45am or stay until 5pm when exams are running.
