St George's School Edgbaston is seeking to appoint an experienced Exams Officer to join there dedicated secondary team.
The successful Examinations Officer will be responsible for all the administration and co-ordination of the examination process.
This includes ensuring compliance procedures and policies are met, liaison and working with the examinations board and ensuring regulations are adhered to at all times.
Providing full support to students and the school ensuring dates and procedures for exam dates are organised and arranged. Security and confidentiality at all times is a strict requirement.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate exam timetables and schedules
• Liaise with examination boards and external invigilators
• Ensure all exam materials are securely stored and distributed
• Provide guidance and support to students regarding exam procedures
• Oversee the administration of exams and ensure a smooth running process
• Manage exam results and data entry accurately
Requirements
• Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably in exams administration
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of examination board regulations and procedures
