This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the most successful non selective schools in the UK. Thornton College is an ambitious and developing independent school in north Buckinghamshire, just 15 minutes from the vibrant town of Milton Keynes. There have been numerous major and award winning developments at the school and a brand new Sixth Form opens in September 2016.

We are now seeking to appoint a passionate, committed and suitably experienced Exams Officer for January or Easter 2017 to manage Examinations and Data Entry and be responsible for the management, administration and smooth running of all internal and external examinations. The role will suit someone already in administration or in teaching. He/she may have an opportunity to teach.

Thornton College is a leading independent Catholic day and boarding school for girls. It is one of the most successful non-selective schools in the UK and offers a warm and nurturing educational environment alongside a rigorous and exciting curriculum.

There are approximately 400 children in our school from Pre-Prep to Sixth Form.  Over 70 girls board on a weekly or termly basis and many more take advantage of our occasional boarding option (when beds are available).
