Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Exams Access / SEND Advisory Tutor to join our Additional Learning Support team to assess students working towards a range of qualification outcomes for exam access arrangements.  You will also be required to work as part of our SEND Advisory team and this practitioner role will focus on working with our curriculum delivery staff to ensure that each student’s normal way of working is established and the necessary access arrangements are in place.

Candidates for this role must have recent experience of assessing candidates for Exam Access Arrangements along with experience of working with young people towards a positive destination.  A postgraduate qualification in Assessment for Access Arrangements (or equivalent) is essential for this role.  You should also be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold a full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills (or be currently working towards).
