Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and efficient Data and Exams Manager to join Stone Lodge School, Dartford.

Opened in 2019, the school is now in brand new, purpose-built accommodation and getting set to hold its first GCSE exams in 2023.  We are therefore looking for the right person to help implement, oversee and manage all of our examination processes.  This will require effective liaison with Exam Boards, students, staff and Senior Leadership and to work with the Deputy Headteacher to support the provision and delivery of academy related data.

This post is a full-time, all year-round permanent position with the requirement that the postholder is unable to take annual leave during the two weeks of the GCSE and A Level results in August.

Candidates must be flexible, have good prioritisation and organisation skills and a keen eye for detail. A high level of IT proficiency is particularly important. Team working and leadership skills are important as the Data and Exams Manager will work closely with curriculum leaders and support staff and will recruit and lead a team of casual exam invigilators. The post holder will have contact with students and at times their parents, hence clear communication skills with a calm approach will be vital. Previous experience of data analysis is essential and exams management experience highly desirable.

This is a new position and offers the right candidate the opportunity to play a key role in establishing an efficient examinations operation.  You will be supported by the school’s senior leadership team and the Trust’s Director of Data & Information.  The role will grow with the school and line management of an exams assistant can be an expectation in due course.

At Stone Lodge School we truly value the success of every child and we place the sharing of excellent education practice at the core of our values. We are committed to improving the quality of education and life for all our students. We can only do this through our staff and by joining the school you can be assured of being part of a supportive, friendly and innovative team.

Application Process:

The deadline for applications is midnight on 3rd July 2022, with interviews expected to take place shortly afterwards.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
