Job overview
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Exams Assessment Advisor to join our Learning Support and Inclusive Practice team at Truro and Penwith College.
In this vital role, you will work closely with students, parent/carers, teaching staff, internal college teams, and external professionals to gather and assess learner needs and their normal way of working. Your findings will be used to apply for appropriate access arrangements, ensuring all students have fair and equitable access to examinations, in line with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to assess student needs.
Use evidence to identify and apply for necessary exam access arrangements.
Ensure all recommendations align with JCQ guidelines.
Support students throughout the assessment process with sensitivity and professionalism.
