We are looking for a meticulous and detailed-orientated individual to join Wycliffe Senior School as Exams Manager.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of all examinations. Your exceptional organisational skills and keen eye for accuracy will be vital in coordinating exam schedules, liaising with examination boards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include overseeing exam entries, coordinating invigilators, and arranging appropriate accommodations for pupils with special needs. You will be responsible for securely handling and distributing examination materials, ensuring the integrity of the exam process, and accurately recording and reporting results.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to establish strong working relationships with staff and pupils.

Terms of Appointment

This is a permanent position offered on a full-time support staff contract; all-year-round starting in September 2023 or before if possible.

About Us

Wycliffe is an HMC co-educational day and boarding school. Wycliffe is located in Stonehouse, approximately 25 miles north of Bristol and 15 miles south of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Access via the motorway network is convenient (we are 3 miles from the M5) and there is a train station in Stonehouse (on the main line from London to Cheltenham) which is just a two minute walk from the school gates. In the Senior School pupils join at Year 9 (age 13) and continue until Year 13 (age 18). There are around 420 pupils in the school and 225 in the Sixth Form. Some 27 subjects are offered at A Level including Japanese, Film Studies, Computer Science and Psychology. Three BTECs are on offer as well as the EPQ. Main sports are rugby, football and cricket for boys with hockey, netball and tennis for girls. Wycliffe is the top school in the UK for squash, and excels at rowing and basketball and there is a thriving CCF.
