Job title: Exams Officer

Responsible to: Deputy Head Teacher responsible for teaching and Learning. (Role will sit within the Operations Team).

Salary: S28 to S32 £29,929 - £33,877 FTE (Actual salary of £26,820 to £30,359) 

Start date: 1st September 2023 or earlier, if possible.

Hours: Full Time. Term time + 10 days (there will be a need for some work at results times in August)


Purpose of the role

Trinity Academy is a highly oversubscribed free school that opened in 2019. We are a values based community that focuses on the learning of all students and staff, that cares deeply for our young people and each other and that is committed to co-curricular enrichment. Our stated goal is to be a +1 school for progress and as such, we are looking for a highly motivated, professional to join us in our mission.


This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised examinations officer to play a key role in running external and internal exams at Trinity Academy. The post holder will be crucial in providing organisational support in this pivotal role in our ambitious school. Students will be sitting the first ever GCSEs in the summer of 2024. As such, we are looking for someone who relishes the opportunity to set up new systems, has the confidence to run processes for the first time and has the initiative to overcome challenges.


This job is suitable for someone with calm efficiency, an eye for detail, the ability to problem solve and is keen to play a key role in the school achieving its mission of being a world class organisation. You will possess excellent ICT, literacy and numeracy skills and be a team player who is willing to support others in our small but growing school community.
