The Gatwick School is looking for an exceptionally organised Executive Administrator to the Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly improving all through school and positively impact teaching and learning across the primary and secondary phases.


Working hours:

Permanent – 22.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday term time only (39 weeks) plus 1 week in the holidays (can work form home during the holidays).

The working pattern (e.g. daily hours) can be negotiated with the successful candidate. Examples of hours include 09:30-14:00 or 08:00-13:00.


The role: 

  • To provide effective and efficient admin support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.


We are looking for individuals who have: 

  • Strong organisational skills and effective time management, enabling deadlines to be consistently met
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage challenging issues with staff, parents/carers and students
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Can quickly build effective working relationships with all stakeholders 
  • Are confident at using their initiative and working independently

Opened in 2014, and judged 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas.  The Gatwick School is a state-funded all-through school based in Crawley, West Sussex. Teaching children aged 4-16, the school is non-denominational and mixed gender. Located on Gatwick Road, it is less than a mile from the international airport of the same name.

The school can be accessed on public transport by the Metrobus network, with the Gatwick Road North bus stop situated outside the school. The Gatwick School has a breakfast club and runs OASIS clubs at the end of the day for after-school intellectual stimulation.
