Epping Forest College are seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team.

In conjunction with the PA to the Principal, the Executive Assistant will manage the diaries of the Vice Principals, as well as administrative and secretarial duties and act as the first point of contact. You will be proactive, able to demonstrate good planning and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines, remaining calm under pressure and work flexibly when required.

  • Complex diary management - organisation of meetings, events and other functions
  • Proactive diary management - forward planning in anticipation of expected events
  • Constant communication of meeting or other requests
  • Planning and arranging UK travel
  • Acting as key contact for the Principals Office - screening incoming calls, dealing with correspondence
  • Producing various forms of documentation and presentations to a high standard

To be considered for this opportunity potential candidates should possess similar previous experience gained within a corporate environment.

Excellent influencing and communication skills are fundamental and the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to building relationships, paying attention to detail and quality simultaneously. The individual will work effectively across all areas of the Principals Office responsibilities, including any external business interests. The nature of the role requires flexibility.

You will be a true professional who is able to demonstrate excellent levels of communication and organisation and will have excellent presentation skills and an eye for detail. You should be competent in the use of Microsoft Office including; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc. Candidates with experience in an educational establishment are ideal.

Additionally the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate positive actions and awareness in support of our E&D policies.
