Salary: Competitive Salary (to be negotiated)

Required for:  April 2019

The Maltby Learning Trust, established in February 2014, currently consists of two secondary and four primary academies situated in neighbouring localities within Rotherham and Doncaster.  The Trust is planning further growth in Spring 2019 with the addition of another large secondary school.

Maltby Learning Trust has a vision and values that resonate throughout its Academies.  Our mantra is ‘Working Together to Achieve Excellence’, and we are committed to providing high quality educational provision for all children and young people in the local communities that we serve.

The Trust are seeking to appoint an ambitious, highly motivated and commercially astute, senior finance leader to the role of Executive Director of Business and Finance,  incorporating the role of Chief Finance Officer.  The successful candidate will develop effective strategic financial planning, management and leadership of the finance function in addition to deputising for the Chief Executive Officer on all financial matters.

This experienced leader should possess the necessary skills, qualities and attributes to play a key role in the strategic direction of the Trust, working as part of the Executive Leadership team alongside the CEO and other Executive Principals and Leaders.  The Executive Director will also drive forward business developments and provide strategic direction within the areas of HR, IT and site services.

We are looking for an exceptional leader with the experience and expertise to take the Trust to the next level of successful performance.  This dynamic individual must have the ambition and drive to be able to inspire and motivate the staff and students within our learning community.

To arrange a conversation about the role with the CEO or arrange a visit to Maltby Learning Trust, please contact Miss Nicky Bailey, Executive Assistant to the CEO at nbailey@maltbylearningtrust.com
