The Board of Governors is seeking an exceptional Executive Head to lead the Russell School Trust through its next phase of strategic development. This is a role for a proven leader with the vision to unite a family of schools under a shared purpose, the commercial acumen to drive sustainable growth, and the warmth and credibility to inspire pupils, staff, parents and governors alike.
The successful candidate will bring senior leadership experience in the independent sector, a deep understanding of what makes a great education, and the ambition to position Royal Russell for long-term success both in the UK and internationally.

Royal Russell is an Independent Day and Boarding School for boys and girls aged 3 to 18.

Royal Russell was founded in 1853 as a charity to look after orphans of families from the textile trades and is proud to have enjoyed Royal Patronage from its foundation, and for having Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as the School’s Patron during her reign.
