Salary: Range TBA

Contract Type: Part-time (likely 3 days a week)

Start Date: September 2023

What are we looking for?

  • Are you dynamic and ambitious and looking for a new challenge beyond the headship of one school?
  • Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the education, well-being and development of children aged five to eleven?
  • Can you lead and inspire others to achieve the best outcomes for the children who attend our school?
  • Are you ambitious and ready to navigate a whole new chapter in the life cycle of St Paul’s?

If your answer is YES – then this role could be for you.

The Governors of St Paul's Primary, Hammersmith are seeking to form a partnership with another school and share an Executive Headteacher from September 2023.  We would love to hear from you if you are a current Headteacher looking to explore such an arrangement, or if you are a current Executive Headteacher and would like to expand your number of schools.

This is a new role and is therefore an opportunity for an individual who is keen to embrace the challenge of shaping the future direction of our school.  It is a strategic post; the successful candidate needs to have strong senior leadership experience with the skills and attributes to be innovative and creative, in order to develop robust systems and structures that deliver a high-quality educational experience for all of the children in our school.

A bit about us:

St Paul's is a one-form entry primary with strong relational links to St Paul's Church Hammersmith.  Our school is located 5 minutes' walk from Hammersmith station, benefitting from both the tranquillity of the Thames and the buzz of central London.

We are proud of our school's reputation for inclusivity and kindness. Our Christian ethos and values are fundamental, informing everything from our relationships to the curriculum.

We are looking for an exceptional leader ready to take the next step in their career, someone who shares our values and our ambitions for our pupils and the wider community.

You will be a skilled communicator, able to form effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and to make the most of the opportunities offered by such a partnership.

How to apply:

Visits to the school are welcome. To arrange this, request an application form or for further information, please contact our clerk Ms Lyn Stanton via email at clerktothegoverningboard@outlook.com

CLOSING DATE: To apply for this part-time post please send your completed application form to our clerk Lyn Stanton via email to clerktothegoverningboard@outlook.com by 9am on Monday, 24th April 2023. Governors will carry out shortlisting activities on 25th April 2023. Successful candidates will be informed on Wednesday 26th April 2023.

INTERVIEW DATE: week commencing 2nd May 2023 at St Paul’s CE Primary School.

St Paul’s values the diversity of our workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. We will especially welcome applications from individuals who are practising Christians or at schools whose values strongly align with St Paul’s Christian ethos.

St Paul’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people and expects all members of staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for all posts.
