Executive Headteacher - Island Innovation Federation

The Island Innovation Trust on the Isle of Wight is responsible for a federation of two local authority secondary schools and a sixth form centre based in the county town of Newport. The Isle of Wight has the opportunities and benefits of an island rural county but also significant challenges.

Following the retirement of our highly respected Executive Headteacher, the Trust is looking for an individual who: 

• is experienced, dynamic and innovative with the passion to improve education outcomes for all our students 
• has skill, drive and enthusiasm 
• has previous experience at Headteacher level 
• has a demonstrable track record against the overall requirements of the Job Description and the key skills/behavioural aspects of the Person Specification

The Executive Headteacher is accountable to the Governing Body of the Federation for education and operational strategy and the relentless pursuit of improved education outcomes through effective performance management.
