L.E.A.D Academy Trust are recruiting for an inspirational Executive Headteacher to enhance the Leadership capacity within the Trust in the Sheffield area with a view to establishing additional support in preparation for future growth of the Trust. We are looking for someone who has the drive, determination and resilience to support our schools in making rapid and sustained improvements whilst ensuring a creative, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. 
 
The Trust has a ‘track record of successfully improving underperforming schools' (DfE) and has been identified by Ofsted as one of seven leading Trusts in the country (HMCI's monthly commentary October 2016). The successful candidate will be expected to continue developing the strong partnership within our family of schools and to work with L.E.A.D. Directors to develop the reputation of the schools within their remit both locally and within the wider Trust.
 
As Executive Headteacher, you will be able to operate and think strategically staying focussed on Academy performance whilst empowering your leadership teams to take responsibility for operational management. You will have a credible history of forging strong relationships both within the Academies you are responsible for and external stakeholders including parents and Governing bodies in addition to other Trust schools and partners. You will be able to clearly communicate your vision for improvement and engage your teams to share the desire for success both for the children in your schools and your staff. It is expected that you will be optimistic and uncompromising in the desire for improvements whilst showing required leadership behaviours such as patience and genuine humility. You will be required to shape the direction of your schools, establishing and securing cultural change through effective modelling whilst celebrating diversity and equality and always having the desire to develop the children’s love of learning at the heart of your decision making.
 
We require an established and experienced Headteacher with modern, creative thinking to join the team and provide the required Executive Leadership guidance to these schools however in return you will also benefit from an excellent, personalised CPD package and support from regional and Trust Directors.
