Our Christian Vision: a community of learning and growing in a culture of respect
In all things you yourself must be an example of good behaviour. Be sincere and serious in your teaching. (Titus 2:7)
This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational leader to work with our wonderful children and highly committed staff team. We are true to our school’s Christian vision, values and aims and this is at the core of school life.
We have a skilled and committed staff team who put our children at the heart of all we do, supporting them and their families in their well-being, safeguarding and development as individuals and learners. Our new headteacher will be effectively supported by pastoral and inclusion teams that work closely with our families and community.
We have highly valued teams working across the Federation who are central to the effectiveness of the school. Strong and energetic teachers and leaders drive our curriculum forward and we are excited about exploring the fresh perspective a new headteacher can bring us.
We are looking for someone who:
- will ensure that all we do is built on our strong Christian values
- puts children at the very heart of everything, being dedicated to providing the very best for their well-being, safeguarding, education and development
- has a passion for teaching and learning
- is a forward-looking leader who will build on our many existing strengths
- will manage our potential transition into academies in LDLT
- has enthusiasm, energy and resilience
- can build strong relationships with all stakeholders
In return we can offer:
- a strong culture of safeguarding
- a community based on our Christian values
- passion for teaching and learning
- an embedded curriculum that is unique to our school
- effective established systems and processes which facilitate the day-to-day running of the school
- fantastic, enthusiastic children who are invested in their learning
- a proactive Governing Board
- positive relationships with Holy Trinity CofE Church, our families and the wider community
- an instrumental role in the new Diocesan MAT working with other local church schools
We warmly welcome potential applicants to visit the school by arrangement with Lisa Coghlan (Office Manager, l.coghlan@htceschools.co.uk) (see July & September dates in the pack for details).
Closing date for applications: Wednesday 14th September (10am)
Please note all applications must be made using the application form provided. In order to comply with Safer Recruitment guidance, CVs cannot be accepted.
Interviews will take place on: Wednesday 21st & Thursday 22nd September
