An amazing opportunity to take on a pivotal leadership role in West Suffolk.

The Hundon and Thurlow Primary Federation are looking to recruit a permanent Executive Headteacher who can support us through our next step and move both our schools from consistently being effective and good to extraordinary and exceptional.

Thurlow was recently re-awarded an overall 'Good' rating by Ofsted in November 2017 and we continue to hold a 'Good' rating at Hundon (July 2015).

The Board of Governors, staff, pupils and parents are looking for the someone with vision, creativity, enthusiasm and compassion to lead us in our commitment to deliver outstanding education in a safe and enjoyable environment, whilst moving the federation onto a higher plane.

You will:

• have high teaching standards
• have the ability to lead courageously, with vision, persuasion and passion
• possess the ability and experience to lead change
• be an effective networker and
• hold a creative flair.

Fun and creative ideas should not be in short supply, along with an openness to participate in robust and rigorous self-evaluation as part of the Executive Headteachers performance management.
