The Prospect Trust is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with an aim of providing outstanding education for all learners within a family of local academies. There are currently three academies within the Trust: The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School and Frimley Church of England Junior School.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Executive Office Team within an outstanding Sixth Form College. We are seeking an experienced administrator to join the team which operates at the very heart of the College and is integral to our exceptional reputation for excellence.

The Role

The post holder will play a pivotal role in undertaking administration for the Senior Leadership Team and will provide support with the day to day management of the Principal’s diary.

In addition, the post holder will be required to assist with drafting general communications and to maintain a series of key organisational documents. Duties may include handling sensitive, confidential information. 

The successful candidate will also assist with the planning and organising of events including in person support on the day.

This position is a full time, ‘through year’ post which means you will be working during the school holidays. You will need to hold a full driving licence and be willing and able to work outside of normal College hours to support the events.

Contract/Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday

The Sixth Form College Farnborough is a sixth form college located in the town of the same name, in Hampshire. Since September 2017, The College has been part of The Prospect Trust, a multi-academy trust. The College had originally been a grammar school founded in 1936, becoming a full sixth form college in 1992. The college is co-educational, with over 3900 students aged 16-19. Since its establishment as a sixth form, the college has undergone extensive redevelopment and modernisation, and as a result can boast of a wide range of high-quality teaching and recreational facilities such as a brand-new purpose-built teaching block opened in 2010 containing teaching facilities for physics, electronics and photography among others. Around a third of the students at the college are on mixed programmes of study combining A levels and vocational courses. The college offers 33 A-level courses, with the largest being in psychology and mathematics. Of the 11 vocational courses, the largest are in criminology and business.
