Job overview

Turner Schools is a young and ambitious Trust with a vision to transform outcomes in non-selective schools on a beautiful stretch of coastal Kent, a DfE designated priority area. The Trust is committed to raising aspirations here, transforming university uptake and employability, by running schools where children thrive and knowledge matters.

This is a unique opportunity to join – and shape – the Trust as the Executive Principal of its largest school, Folkestone ‘All-age’ Academy, providing a cradle to career education from 3 to 19.

The Executive Principal will be an aspirational and experienced educational leader who has the analytical skills and strategic vision to build a strong reputation for the whole Academy. Most likely having worked already at Principal level in a context of overcoming low aspiration, s/he will have proven success in building relationships and developing excellence in teaching and learning. The Executive Principal will work closely with the CEO of Turner Schools and the rest of the Trust and School Leadership Team to build on the growing reputation of the Academy and the Trust.

Working together we will ensure that a powerful education is available to everyone.
