As the Expeditions Programme Coordinator at San Silvestre School, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing a variety of educational trips, student conferences, integration programs, and overseas sporting experiences. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of educators to ensure that students participate in meaningful, well-organized, and safe learning experiences both locally and internationally.


Development and Coordination of experiential activities

  • Design and implement cutting-edge student leadership, and outdoor adventure programs.
  • Oversee curriculum integration with sports academies and enrichment activities.
  • Collaborate with global experts to ensure program excellence.
  • Work with and alongside teachers to plan a comprehensive expedition and trips programme.
  • Ensure all expedition activities are planned and implemented with the highest standards of risk assessment and risk prevention following school health and safety procedures
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing for expeditions and visits
  • Pre visits and visiting areas to be used for activities and expeditions.


Resource Management and Program Expansion

  • Curate and continuously enhance a high-quality, accessible digital resource hub.
  • Investigate opportunities to expand the expedition programme.
  • Coordinate and develop workshops, information evenings, and newsletters to deliver timely information on expeditions and trips


Promotion of Super-curricular Enrichment

  • Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to promote enrichment opportunities that develop student profiles.
  • Actively seek and support super-curricular opportunities that challenge and prepare our most ambitious students.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Comply with all San Silvestre policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Undertake additional tasks as requested to support the effective functioning of the school.
