The International Community School of the Cote d’Azur offers an innovative bilingual education to a diverse community of learners in an attractive and sought after region. An IB World School, we are seeking to appoint creative, dynamic teachers who are skilled with inquiry-based learning and differentiated practices.
Priority will be given to candidates with at least 3 years experience in international schools that deliver an inquiry-based education, preferably in an IB World School (Primary Years Programme)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS to obtain a work visa :
- A university degree
- PGCE/QTS teacher certification or equivalent (EAL /ESL /TESOL certificates cannot be accepted as qualifications for this position.)
To be considered for the position, candidates must also have:
- 3 years full time experience as a primary classroom teacher ( responsible for all subjects) in an anglophone or international primary school.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Other qualities sought:
- Strong collaborative skills (class groups are taught by two teachers, one English, the other French)
- Skilled at designing differentiated instruction and assessments
- Competency with technology integration for Key Stage 1 (age 5-7) students.
- Commitment to own professional learning and growth
