We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants and support workers to work in a school in Bedford who  cater for students with PMLD, SLD, MLD and ASC We are looking for confident individuals who are passionate about making a difference to the vulnerable young people in their setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with PMLD and SLD however we would also like to hear from candidates with a care background looking for a new career. This is a general teaching assistant role, but the ideal candidate will have to demonstrate both initiative and an ability to ask questions when needed. An understanding of PECS and Signalong is desired but not essential.

This is a day to day bank supply  role with the opportunity to be offered a permanent contract however if you are looking for more permanent  work we have schools that do ask for staff on a temp to perm basis . You must be available between 8.30 – 3.30 at least 4 days a week

• Criminology, Psychology, Drama, Music  Degree 

• Sports coaching qualification or background

• Team Teach/ SKIP,CPI, MAPA physical intervention training

• Supporting NEET

• Challenging behaviour within an out of school setting

• Mentoring

• 121 Tuiton 

• Children who are at risk of exclusion 

• Teaching/Learning support Assistance/ numeracy and literacy support
