Experienced Teaching Assistant for Maternity Cover

Excalibur Academies Trust seeks an experienced Teaching Assistant to work at Burbage Primary School for Maternity cover.

Start Date: As soon as possible

20 hrs per week (5 mornings, term time only)

Scale Point 5-6 (starting from £8,728 pa / £10.01 per hour)

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to become an essential part of the team.

· This role will be to support the learning of a specific child with additional educational needs.

· Maintaining specified child’s individual support plan targets both in the classroom and in specially designed interventions.

· To support other children in the class where required, leading small groups and working with other individuals.

· Assisting the class teacher with the classroom environment and resources.

· Own transport required for alternative provision.
