Salary: Scale 4, Spine Point 18-21

Actual Salary Range: £10,755.63 - £11,643.30 per annum.

Contract: Part-time, Permanent, Term-Time only

Hours: 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri 7:45-8:45am and 3:00-6:00pm

The Extended Day Worker will work across the extended day provision at Prior Weston including the breakfast, morning and after school clubs and Night Owls (after school childcare). The post holder will be expected to work flexibly across this wrap-around care and work a split shift. 

Under direction of the Extended Day Coordinator plan, prepare and deliver a suitable programme of imaginative and innovative activities for the extended day provision suitable for children age 4 - 11 years old which meet the children’s developmental needs and stimulate their learning.

Work in a flexible manner to provide extended day services as directed by the Extended Day Coordinator during Breakfast Club, running morning and after school clubs and in Night Owls (after school provision) including those which;

 support learning e.g. key stage, homework, musical instrument

 celebrate the culturally diverse community of the school

 provide opportunities for pupils to take part in physical activities and sport

 promote the arts, drama and music
