Job overview

Brighton and Hove High GDST are looking for an outstanding and energetic individual with strong communication, relationship-building and event management skills and experience in student recruitment to play a central role in the school’s Marketing department. 

You will actively seek new partnership opportunities within the local community, develop and support an innovative and attractive transitions programme, run engaging events, improve and manage the admissions processes and advance the school’s alumnae and development activities.

You will have a keen awareness of partnership and development opportunities and experience in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, including prospective parents and pupils, local and regional organisations and the school community.  You will also have a thorough understanding of the independent education sector and local Brighton market.  

Excellent communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic and charismatic manner are essential. The ability to successfully build relationships with others and to engage effectively with parents, teachers, opinion formers and members of the local community is also key.
