St Gabriel’s C of E School is a ‘good’ school (Ofsted November 2023) and is frequently described as ‘an oasis’. Our very recent Ofsted described St Gabriel’s as being ‘calm, caring and welcoming;’ where pupils are ‘happy at school as they feel like they belong to a ‘big family’, where everyone helps each other.’ Staff wellbeing is also a priority and ‘Staff are proud to be a part of this school. We are a one form entry primary school situated in central London, with views of the Thames, the new Battersea Power Station development and within a short distance of the Houses of Parliament and London’s West End. We are looking for an inspiring, talented experienced EYFS teacher to join our dedicated team of staff in September 2024. For experienced applicants, subject leadership roles will be available. 


We are looking for:

  • Teachers with experience of teaching EYFS and KS1
  • Highly skilled motivated practitioners with high emotional intelligence, a vision and passion for learning
  • Teachers with experience of and a proven track record for raising standards across the curriculum and particularly in early reading and phonics
  • High expectations with a passion and belief that all children can and will succeed
  • Hard working active team members who will support our Christian ethos
