Willowbrook Primary School is looking for a friendly and dedicated EYFS Class Teacher to support its Reception, class, with effect from September 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about providing all children with a rich and inspiring education. A background / specialism in the EYFS is advantageous.   

Salary: MPS (£30,000 - £41,333 FTE). Contract: Fixed Term (until 31st August 2025). Working Hours: Part-time (0.4 FTE).

We are a small, warm and welcoming school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the heart of Trowbridge in Wiltshire, we are part of inclusive community where we respect, appreciate and support each other and our environment. We are looking for someone who:  

  • Is committed to becoming a truly excellent teacher;
  • Can teach a broad range of engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve student attainment;
  • Can plan and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard that ensure real learning takes place and students make superior progress;
  • Is able to raise attainment and challenge students to achieve their best;
  • Has a commitment to extra-curricular activities;
  • Is an EYFS specialist (advantageous);
  • Is aware of current initiatives in EYFS;
  • Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to the work in our Reception class, and the school;
  • Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
  • Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
  • Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
  • Has a desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
