Job overview

Inspire our little learners! We are currently looking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage Leader to join our dedicated and supportive team at Harris Primary Academy Croydon. This role is well suited to an individual with teaching experience in a primary school environment looking to develop in a thriving academy environment.

About Us

We have high expectations for every child and provide expert teaching so that our pupils make excellent progress. We place a strong emphasis on the dedicated teaching of reading, writing and maths so that our pupils have a solid foundation to build their learning in other subjects. Our curriculum is rich, varied and engaging and develops children's knowledge, understanding and skills in all subjects. We have high hopes for every pupil, regardless of their background or starting point.

Every day our pupils, teachers and staff all contribute to making our academy a warm and welcoming place to learn. I am very proud of our pupils' positivity towards their learning and the kindness they display towards their teachers and each other.

We are very much a community school and, as well as developing local links and partnerships, we encourage our pupils to be polite, caring and outstanding members of their local community. This, we hope, will help enable our pupils to become compassionate, ambitious, global citizens of the future. We also know that a close partnership with parents and carers is vital and we do all we can to keep them informed and involved in all aspects of school life.
