The Directorate Children and Young People (DCYP) provides appropriate professional direction, support and advice to ensure that service children, where ever they are living in the world, and young people are provided with every opportunity to achieve the best possible outcomes and fulfil their potential.

DCYP is a highly complex organisation employing c.1000 personnel which included Teachers, MOD Broader Banded Civil Servants, Soulbury Grades, Locally Employed Civilians and Contractors in multiple worldwide locations.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced EYFS Leader who will:

• To provide inspirational leadership and effective management in order to achieve excellence, quality and high standards for all children. 
• The post holder will work with and support others to secure the commitment of the wider community and Command to the unit, in order to develop effective partnerships for the benefit of the children. 
• Represent the School unit in Command meetings, that include working closely with the Community Support team, Joint Social Workers and LSCB for British Forces Gibraltar.
• Work with the School Governance Committee (SGC) of the unit to create a shared vision and strategic plan that inspires and motivates children, staff and all members of the community.

The successful candidate will have to demonstrate to the selection panel that their past experiences are appropriate and applicable to the post of EYFS Leader, Gibraltar.
