We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work alongside the teacher and children in our Reception Class.
32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 Inset days, 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday
Permanent and fixed-term contracts starting Tuesday 3rd September 2019
Pro rata salary is £12,695 pa based on £16,497 FTE (Pay award pending)
Wheatfield is a growing school - we add a year group each September until we are full to capacity in September 2020. We are currently seeking a talented early years practitioner who shares our vision of high aspirations, outstanding achievement and passion for learning.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience of objective-led planning, which follows the children’s interests and needs, as well as gathering evidence of significant achievement for each child’s learning record.
The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate the ability and skills to:
- develop positive relationships with children to enhance their development in all areas of learning
- communicate effectively with young children
- develop effective partnerships with parents and carers
- work collaboratively with staff, both at school level and within the GLF Trust family of schools
