This small and dynamic primary school in Newcastle are looking to recruit an experienced primary school teaching assistant to work within their Early Years Unit. The general duties of the primary school EYFS Teaching Assistant will include working on a one to one basis in literacy and numeracy, and working under the direction of the classroom teacher to ensure the best possible progress and attainment for the children within the classroom.

This is a part time role, although the school can be flexible on working hours, depending on the candidate. Ideally the role would be working 08:30-12:00 on a Monday, Thursday and Friday. This role would be to start as soon as possible, and last for the duration of the academic year in the first instance.
