Description
Central Primary school is a grade two listed building in the heart of Watford. We have a high proportion of children on the Special Educational Needs (SEN) register as well as those who have English as an Additional Language (EAL). Staff focus on the child’s individual needs and ensure that all progress with their learning.
We are looking for a high quality EYFS leader to join us in September. This role includes a core subject responsibility depending on your experience and interest. This post provides the opportunity to be part of the senior leadership team and be at the forefront of moving the school forward.
You will need to be an excellent teacher as well as leader and manager with high expectations; ensuring the children are central to everything you do.
As the leader you will:
- Be an experienced aspirational teacher and leader
- Lead by example as well as working well as part of a team
- Be a creative and strategic thinker with vision, ideas and strong ethics
- Have well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire, challenge and motivate the whole school community
- Be resilient and reflective
In return, we can offer you a friendly, happy environment with children who love to learn. We support staff with their professional development, broadening their skills and knowledge. Staff and children’s wellbeing is crucial and a focus of the school.
Central Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and all staff at the school undergo rigorous pre-employment checks. All applicants invited to interview will be expected to complete a Disclosing and Barring Scheme (DBS) form and other necessary checks before commencing their employment at the school.
