You may be an existing EYFS teacher or starting your teaching career as an ECT. Princess May offers a merged Nursery and Reception setting and so the ability to manage this is essential. The ability to manage other staff within the EYFS is also an essential element of the role.

Candidates should be prepared to be hard-working, flexible and willing to go the extra mile in what is a very busy and high-performing one-form-entry school.
Our curriculum was developed and carefully crafted from the ground-up in 2020, and recognised in our 2023 Ofsted inspection as a strength. The successful applicant will be supported by our experienced EYFS lead to fully implement the EYFS curriculum. There will also be opportunities to work with Early Excellence and other external consultants.
Benefits include:
* Inner-London leadership pay scale
* Extensive planning and resources in place
* A meaningful staff wellbeing policy, including the option of taking PPA and leadership time from home
* Outstanding pupil behaviour across the school
* Extensive CPD, including National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) and WalkThru coaching
* A school dog!
The successful candidate will have:
* A passion for and be an expert in the EYFS
* Strong, demonstrable leadership skills
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude with a track record of success and a willingness to be flexible and to go the extra mile
* A commitment to driving high standards of attainment and enrichment for all pupils, including running a lunchtime club
