Closing date for applications: 1st November 2019

Job starts: January 2020

Contract type: Full Time

Contract term: 2 years

King Henry VIII College, Malaysia welcomed its first students in September 2018. KH8 is a fully-fledged sister school to Christ College, Brecon, one of the UK’s oldest schools, founded by Henry VIII in 1541.

King Henry VIII College is a co-educational boarding and day school, with students from 3 to 18 years of age. We share the values and ethos of Christ College, and make the most of our links in the UK and across the globe, ensuring we are very much an international school.

King Henry VIII College has a modern, urban setting in the Multi-Media Super Corridor hub that is Cyberjaya - a rapidly-developing planned township, mid-way between Kuala Lumpur City Centre and KL International Airport. The school has an impressive modern campus, with outstanding, purpose-built facilities.

Each teaching position at the school presents a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a particular interest in being part of a growing new school, as it establishes its reputation in the region.

The curriculum at KH8 Primary is a recognisably British one. In the Early Years section of KH8 Primary we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, with seven specified areas of learning. At the end of the Reception year, children are assessed against the 17 Early Learning Goals.

All teachers are expected to contribute to the general community life of KH8.
