Principal: Mr Matthew Vickers
We are a Good rated Primary Academy, with Outstanding early years provision and pupil development, behaviour and welfare based in the cathedral city of Wakefield in West Yorkshire, near Leeds.
We aim to give every child the best possible start in life within a safe, caring and positive environment, and believe that learning should be enriching, enhanced and engaging.
The Academy became part of the Outwood Family of Schools in 2013 and as part of the Outwood Grange Academies Trust we offer our colleagues extensive CPD opportunities and are committed to the Outwood vision of putting children first, raising standards and transforming lives.
We want you to help to take us to the next level.
To help you do that, we work hard to ensure we reduce workload on our colleagues, allowing more time in the classroom to put our vision of children first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice.
We will also actively invest in your future through working closely with the Outwood Institute of Education to offer access to a wide range of CPD opportunities, with all staff receiving a minimum of two hours’ CPD each week.
We also offer a generous employment package with a whole host of staff benefits, including a health cash plan, a cycle to work scheme, plus a partnership with car leasing company, Synergy, with offers exclusively for Outwood colleagues.
