Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to have relevant classroom experience.

The role

Smart Teachers are seeking to recruit a EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a lovely independent Nursery in Purley, Croydon. The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will be responsible for assisting in planning, delivery and assessment of the curriculum while also some personal care will be required. Successful candidates will be responsible for the support of the pupils which also may involve working on a 1:1 basis and working closely with the room leader. The role is to start ASAP on an ongoing basis including holiday work.

Graded ‘Good’ with its last Ofsted inspection report. The manager of the nursery is very welcoming and hands on when it comes to the care of staff and children alike. The nursery is based within walking distance from Purley Station. 

Requirements

To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Level 3 or degree equivalent qualification 

• Have recent experience supporting Early Years

• Experience in the Independent sector desirable but not essential
