Bishopsgate School is urgently seeking an energetic and inspirational, NVQ Level3 qualified Teaching Assistant with a bright and caring nature to guide and support our Nursery Children on a temporary basis, to cover a long term sickness absence.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be committed to high standards of teaching and learning with the ability to inspire and motivate our children to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will also be a team player who is positive and proactive with good interpersonal skills and a willing approach to sharing and developing best practice.

You will be working with one of our Nursery classes, supporting childrens’ development and learning through play and ‘in the moment‘ learning. You’ll also provide one-on-one support to children helping them to thrive in a positive and nurturing environment. Our working hours are designed to accommodate both our employees’ personal lives and the needs of our school community. Working hours are 8.00am to 4:30pm, with one day until 5:30 for afterschool provisions, Monday to Friday during term time, which includes 1 to 2 days at the at beginning or end

of each term.
