Dundry C of E Primary School has a full-time permanent teaching vacancy available. 

We are looking for a motivated EYFS/Year 1 class teacher to join our friendly and committed team from September 2019.

We are looking for a EYFS/Year 1 teacher who:

◦Recognises and builds upon the strengths of each and every child and takes responsibility for their rapid progress

◦Is passionate about making a difference and committed to providing a caring, nurturing environment, sympathetic to our Christian values

◦Displays excellent communication skills to the entire school community, establishing strong foundations with parents, children and other stakeholders

◦Is creative and enthusiastic and open to challenge and change

◦Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum and Assessment for Learning

◦Is willing to play an active part in our school community

Dundry Primary School is a small school situated on Dundry Hill, enjoying spectacular views over Bristol and the Severn Bridges towards Wales. The school has been on this site and serving the community of Dundry since 1858 and continues to enjoy strong links with the local church. There are currently three mixed aged classes and 76 pupils on roll. The school was graded as requires improvement by Ofsted in Jan 2019.

Dundry School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
