About Beaminster St Mary's Academy
St Mary’s converted to an Academy in the spring of 2014. As an academy we have the benefits of continuing to work alongside the Beaminster Pyramid of schools, as well as belonging to a family of schools under the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust. This means we can work with a wide range of schools, in order to share skills and expertise and join together to collaborate in sporting and music events and so much more!
Here in the Academy we are blessed by a staff who are extremely hard working and dedicated not only to helping all of our children achieve to the best of their ability, but also keep them safe, happy and excited by their learning. Our motto is ‘where children come first’ and we put the children at the heart of all we do.
As a Church school, we aim to prepare children for their future by achieving a high level of academic success underpinned by Christian values chosen by the children. We are proud of our links to St Mary’s Church and take part in regular worships, both in school and at the Church.
